Berry mix (frozen or fresh)

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Berry mix (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, wild berries, etc.), fresh or frozen, has an intense, sweet-tart flavor with forest notes, a juicy texture, and vibrant colors ranging from red to deep purple. Berries are low in calories, rich in fiber, vitamin C, B vitamins, and valuable polyphenols and anthocyanins with strong antioxidant properties that support the circulatory system, immunity, and brain health. Regular consumption may aid digestion, regulate blood sugar levels, and have anti-inflammatory effects. In the kitchen, berry mix is great for smoothies, oatmeal, yogurts, salads, meat sauces, and desserts, as well as for baking and cocktails. Store fresh berries in the refrigerator in a breathable container and do not wash them until use; consume within a few days. Frozen berries are best frozen spread out on a baking sheet in a single layer, then stored in an airtight container at around -18°C; they can be used without thawing for smoothies or thawed in the refrigerator.
