Blanco tequila
Description
Tequila blanco is a clear, colorless distillate made from blue agave with a distinct, fresh herbal-citrus aroma featuring notes of pepper and earthiness; its taste is pure, with a sharp, alcoholic finish and a pronounced agave sweetness. Its neutral yet characteristic profile makes it a staple in classic cocktails like margaritas or palomas, and it pairs well with citrus fruits, salsas, marinades for meat and seafood, as well as in desserts and flambé dishes. It is a typical alcoholic beverage with no significant macronutrients aside from calories derived from ethanol (about 7 kcal per gram of alcohol; a shot ~100 kcal depending on the strength). It does not provide vitamins or minerals, so health benefits arise only from moderate and responsible consumption — excess is harmful. Store upright, in a cool, dark place, in a tightly sealed bottle; it does not continue to age in the bottle, but long storage may slightly alter the aroma.
