Parsley (for serving)
Description
Parsley for serving is an intensely green garnish with delicate, frilled leaves and a fresh, slightly peppery, herbal flavor that enlivens dishes both visually and taste-wise. Its aroma is subtle yet noticeable, which is why it is primarily used as a final decoration and flavor enhancer. It is rich in vitamins C, K, and A, folate, iron, and antioxidants, supporting immunity, cardiovascular health, and metabolism. It is typically used to sprinkle over soups, sauces, salads, potatoes, fish, and meats, as well as in fresh dips, pesto, or as a component of sandwiches. Store in the refrigerator, preferably in a glass of water or wrapped in a damp towel, and use within a few days; it can also be finely chopped and frozen in oil or water in cubes.
