Smoked paprika (optional)

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Smoked paprika (optional) is a finely ground, intensely red spice with a smoky, sweet-spicy aroma that adds depth and a slightly caramelized flavor to dishes. It resembles regular paprika powder in appearance, but its scent notes are distinctly "smoked," making it an excellent addition where we want to achieve a grilling effect without using fire. Nutritionally, it is low in calories, contains vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants (carotenoids), and trace amounts of iron and fiber, which support immunity, eye health, and the body's anti-inflammatory action. It is most commonly used in stews, goulashes, soups, marinades, meat and vegetable mixes, spreads, and dishes from Spanish and Hungarian cuisine. Store in an airtight container, in a cool, dark place, away from moisture and heat; best used within a few months for full aroma.
