Sea salt (finely ground)

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Sea salt (finely ground) is a white, slightly moist crystal with a pure, intense, yet milder flavor than table salt, which enhances the natural aromas of dishes. The fine granules dissolve quickly, providing even seasoning without noticeable "salty" clumps. It mainly contains sodium chloride, as well as trace amounts of minerals such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium, which do not replace a balanced diet; sodium is essential for electrolyte balance and neuromuscular functions, but it should be used in moderation due to the risk of hypertension with excessive intake. In the kitchen, finely ground sea salt is well-suited for seasoning meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and sauces, as well as for baking, where it dissolves quickly. Thanks to its subtle minerality, it works well both as cooking salt and for a light finishing touch on dishes. Store in an airtight, opaque container in a dry, cool place, away from moisture and odors, to maintain its texture and flavor.
