Description

Béarnaise sauce is a classic French emulsified sauce with a creamy, light yellow color and silky texture, fragrant with tarragon, shallots, and malt vinegar; the flavor is buttery-egg with a distinct herbal note of tarragon and a slightly acidic finish. It pairs especially well with red meat (steaks), grilled fish, vegetables such as asparagus, eggs, and as a finishing touch for delicate potato dishes or steaks.
