Fresh parsley
Description
Fresh parsley is intensely green, with delicate leaves that have a fresh, slightly spicy-citrusy aroma and a crunchy texture, adding boldness and visual freshness to dishes. It is a source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folic acid, iron, potassium, and fiber, along with antioxidants and flavonoids, which support immunity, bone health, circulation, and digestion with a moderate impact on overall body condition. In the kitchen, parsley goes well with almost everything: soups, sauces, salads, meat dishes, fish, and vegetable dishes, perfectly finishing off pesto, herb butters, and dressings. Store it in the fridge wrapped in a slightly damp paper towel or standing in a glass of water with a loose cover, wash just before use; it can also be finely chopped and frozen in oil or water cubes for longer storage.
