Cold-pressed flaxseed oil
Description
Cold-pressed flaxseed oil has a clear, golden-amber color and a delicate, slightly nutty-grassy aroma with a subtle bitterness. Its flavor is mild and pleasantly fresh, best enjoyed raw. It is exceptionally rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA, omega-3), also contains omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, and antioxidants, which promote heart health, cognitive functions, and help alleviate inflammation with regular use. Due to its vitamin E content, it can also support skin condition. In the kitchen, it is best used as a finishing oil: for dressings, sauces, dips, creamy soups, smoothies, or drizzled over finished dishes — it is not suitable for frying due to its low smoke point. Store in a dark bottle in a cool place, preferably in the refrigerator after opening, protect from light and air, and use within 6–8 weeks.
