Description
Thick 18% cream has a creamy, velvety texture and a light cream color, with a slightly milky, mildly sweet taste. Due to its moderate fat content, it is lighter than heavy creams and combines well with sauces, soups, desserts, and coffee, giving dishes smoothness without overwhelming greasiness. Nutritionally, it provides energy mainly in the form of fat, as well as small amounts of protein, calcium, and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D). It can help support a feeling of fullness and aid in the absorption of vitamins, but it should be used in moderation due to the presence of saturated fats. It is stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2–6°C, in its original packaging or an airtight container; once opened, it is best used within 3–5 days. Before use, it is advisable to mix it vigorously, and freezing may alter the product's texture.
