Gingerbread spice
Description
Gingerbread spice is a blend of ground spices with a warm, sweet-spicy aroma featuring distinct notes of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and cardamom; it has a fine, amber-brown color and an intense fragrance that is released when heated. The ingredients in this blend are rich in antioxidants and compounds with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, support digestion, may alleviate cold symptoms, and in moderate consumption can help regulate glucose levels. In the kitchen, gingerbread spice is suitable for baking (gingerbread, cakes, cookies), desserts, compotes, and mulled wine, as well as for meat dishes, marinades, roasted vegetables, and morning oatmeal or yogurt. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark place away from moisture and sunlight; best used within 6–12 months, and can be stored longer in the form of whole spices.
