Natural cream cheese is a smooth, creamy mass with a snow-white color and a subtly buttery, slightly tangy taste. Its consistency is velvety and easy to spread, making it a delightful addition both on bread and in hot dishes. The composition is dominated by milk fat and whey protein; the cheese provides calcium, B vitamins, and energy, which, when consumed in moderation, supports bone building and protein replenishment in the diet; however, individuals with lactose intolerance should exercise caution.
