Dried edible rose petals

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Dried edible rose petals have a delicate, intensely floral aroma with hints of sweetness and subtle citrus freshness; they resemble thin, paper-like leaves in shades of pink, red, and cream, often with a fermented, slightly crinkled shape. They are a source of antioxidants, flavonoids, and vitamin C, which can support immunity, have anti-inflammatory effects, and positively impact skin and digestion when consumed in moderation; however, it is advisable to choose petals from pesticide-free cultivation. In the kitchen, they work well in infusions and teas, syrups, jams, desserts, cakes, salads, marinades, and as a decoration and aromatic addition to liqueurs and cocktails. Store them tightly in a dark, cool, and dry place, preferably in a glass jar, away from moisture and strong odors; use within a year for the best aroma.
