Świeża gruszka
Description
Fresh pear has a delicately sweet, slightly floral aroma and a soft, juicy flesh with a characteristic slightly grainy texture; the skin can be green, yellow, red, or marbled, often with a blush near the stem. It is a source of dietary fiber (especially pectin), vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants, which support digestion, regulate blood sugar levels, promote heart health, and boost immunity, while also keeping the body well-hydrated. In the kitchen, pears work well both raw in salads and sandwiches, as well as in desserts, tarts, compotes, baked or stewed with spices, and paired with cheeses and meats. To extend freshness, store unripe pears at room temperature until they soften, and refrigerate ripe ones; avoid overly tight storage and contact with highly ethylene-producing fruits to prevent accelerated spoilage.
