Syrop cukrowy
Description
Sugar syrup is a clear or slightly amber, sticky liquid with a distinctly sweet, neutral taste, devoid of intense aromas, making it a universal carrier of sweetness. In the kitchen, it works well as a base for cocktails, lemonades, and flavored syrups, a moisture enhancer in baked goods, a glaze for cakes and fruits, and an ingredient in desserts such as sorbets and creams. Nutritionally, sugar syrup mainly provides simple carbohydrates and calories, without significant vitamins or minerals; it can quickly replenish energy, but excessive consumption promotes weight gain and tooth decay. It should be stored in a tightly sealed, clean container in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator to prevent fermentation and crystallization; if necessary, reheating will restore its liquid consistency.
