Description

Mustard seeds, available in yellow, brown, and black varieties, are small and round with a smooth skin; they have a subtly nutty flavor when whole, while crushing them releases an intense, spicy note with a sharp, peppery finish. They have a pleasant aroma that enhances dishes, which is why they are often added optionally to highlight flavor.
