Liquid egg white
Description
Egg white (liquid) is a transparent-white, slightly sticky liquid with a mild, almost neutral taste that easily blends with other ingredients. As a product most often pasteurized, it retains the delicate structure of the protein and a clear appearance after whisking. It is a source of high-quality protein with low fat content and zero cholesterol, which supports muscle building, recovery, and weight control, with minimal calorie contribution. In the kitchen, it works well in omelets, frittatas, mousses, diet baked goods, protein shakes, and for preparing meringue structures and emulsions; it suits both sweet and savory dishes. The product should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 0–4°C, in its original, airtight packaging; once opened, use within 3–5 days or portion and freeze for up to about 3 months.
