Description
Whipped cream for decoration has a delicate, slightly sweet taste and a creamy, fluffy texture in a snow-white or slightly creamy color, which adds lightness and elegance to desserts. As a dairy product, it is rich in fat and calories, providing fat-soluble vitamins (A, D) as well as small amounts of calcium and protein; it serves as a quick source of energy, but due to its high fat content, it is advisable to consume it in moderation or choose light or plant-based versions when fat reduction is indicated. It pairs wonderfully with cakes, pancakes, ice cream, hot chocolate, fruits, and cold desserts, serving both a decorative and flavor-enhancing role. It should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2–6°C, tightly covered, and is best consumed within 24–48 hours after whipping; unwhipped cream can be stored longer according to the expiration date, and aerosol cans and stabilized products should be stored according to the manufacturer's instructions.
