Apple cider (non-carbonated)

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Non-carbonated apple cider is a clear or slightly cloudy juice with a warm amber color, an intense aroma of fresh apples, and a flavor that combines natural sweetness with subtle acidity. It mainly contains carbohydrates in the form of natural sugars, vitamin C, potassium, as well as polyphenols and antioxidants that support the circulatory system and have anti-inflammatory properties; however, it should be consumed in moderation due to its caloric content. In the kitchen, it works well as a refreshing drink, an ingredient for mulled cider, marinades, meat sauces, dressings, and desserts, as well as a base for cocktails and deglazing pans. Freshly pressed non-carbonated cider is perishable and should be stored chilled; once opened, it should be tightly sealed in the refrigerator and consumed within 3–7 days; a pasteurized version can be kept cool and dark until the expiration date.
