Description

Canned corn, drained, consists of bright yellow, shiny kernels with a sweet, slightly starchy flavor and a firm, juicy texture. After draining, it loses some of its liquid sweetness but retains the characteristic aroma of cooked corn, making it easy to integrate with other dish ingredients. It is a good source of carbohydrates and fiber, contains small amounts of protein, B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin C, and minerals such as magnesium and phosphorus, as well as antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin that support eye health.
