Description
Mixed minced meat (pork and beef) has a full, rich flavor resulting from the combination of juicy pork and aromatic beef; its color is a pinkish-red soft filling with visible pieces of fat that add moisture and flavor after cooking. From a nutritional standpoint, it provides high-quality protein, B vitamins (especially B12), iron, and zinc important for blood and metabolism, but it also contains saturated fats — it's advisable to choose leaner proportions for a healthier diet. Typical uses include patties and burgers, meatballs, Bolognese sauces, fillings for dumplings and casseroles, and one-pot dishes, where the mixture provides good structure and flavor. Store the meat in the refrigerator for 1–2 days at a temperature below 4°C or freeze for up to 3 months; thaw in the refrigerator, keep in an airtight container, cook to a safe temperature, and avoid refreezing raw product.
