Strong, hot coffee
Description
Strong, hot coffee is an intense brew with a distinct, bitter taste and full body, usually dark brown to almost black with an aromatic scent of roasted notes, often with hints of chocolate, nuts, or fruits depending on the variety and roasting level. Without additives, it has low energy value, is a source of caffeine and antioxidants (polyphenols), which, when consumed in moderation, can improve alertness, mood, and metabolism, and may be associated with a reduced risk of certain chronic diseases. In the kitchen, it serves as a base for beverages (espresso, americano, latte), an ingredient in desserts (tiramisu, ice cream), sauces and marinades, as well as for deglazing and cocktails, adding depth of flavor. Store the beans in an airtight, opaque container in a cool, dark place and grind just before brewing. It is best to consume brewed coffee fresh; it can be stored in the fridge for up to 48 hours, keeping in mind the loss of aroma.
