Mrożone owoce leśne
Description
Frozen forest fruits are a mix of berries such as blueberries, raspberries, wild strawberries, and blackberries with an intense, sweet-tart flavor and vibrant colors hidden under a light layer of frost. Once thawed, they retain their aroma and slightly soft texture, often with a distinct tartness that contrasts well with sweet additions. They are low in calories, rich in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, as well as polyphenols and anthocyanins with antioxidant properties, which support heart health, reduce inflammation, and promote gut flora. In the kitchen, they work perfectly in smoothies, sauces, compotes, desserts, baked goods, and as an addition to yogurt, oatmeal, or granola, as well as in combination with citrus fruits and chocolate. Store them in the freezer in airtight containers at around -18°C, portioning before freezing or using them without thawing for smoothies; once fully thawed, refreezing is not recommended.
