Frozen strawberries
Description
Frozen strawberries retain the intense, sweet-tart aroma of fresh fruit, and beneath the layer of frost, you can see juicy, red pieces with a natural flesh structure; when thawed, they soften but still deliver full flavor. They are low in calories, rich in vitamin C, fiber, potassium, and folates, as well as polyphenols and anthocyanins with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which support the circulatory system, immunity, and glycemic control. In the kitchen, they are suitable for smoothies, cocktails, yogurts, oatmeal, cakes, fruit sauces, compotes, and jams, as well as an addition to salads or cold desserts. Store in the freezer at around −18°C in airtight packaging, avoid repeated thawing and refreezing; best used within 8–12 months for optimal quality.
