Prepare all the ingredients on the countertop: measure out frozen strawberries (300 g) into a bowl. If the strawberries are very clumped together, gently separate them with your fingers or a kitchen knife. If you are using fresh strawberries instead of frozen, wash them under running cold water and hull them.

Preparation steps
Preparation of ingredients
Peel the bananas (the total weight after peeling should be about 240 g — two medium bananas). Cut each banana into slices about 1-1.5 cm thick and place them in a bowl. If you want a very thick and creamy smoothie, you can arrange the slices on a baking sheet and freeze them for 30 minutes before blending.
Measure out Greek yogurt (200 g) and orange juice (200 ml) into a pitcher or large measuring cup. Squeeze the juice from the lime (15 g, about 1 tablespoon) directly into the pitcher. If you plan to add chia seeds and want them to swell, measure 20 g of chia seeds and soak them in 50 ml of water in a small bowl — set aside for 10 minutes until it turns into a gel (optional).
Assembly and blending
Pour into the blender in the following order: first Greek yogurt (200 g), then chopped bananas (240 g), frozen strawberries (300 g), orange juice (200 ml), lime juice (15 g), and ice (150 g). If you are using honey (30 g) as a sweetener or soaked chia seeds, add them now.
Close the blender lid. Start blending with short pulses (3–4 times for 1 second) to break up larger pieces of strawberries, then blend at medium speed for 30–45 seconds. Check the consistency: the smoothie should be smooth, without larger pieces of fruit, with a texture that flows freely from the spoon, but at the same time should lightly coat the back of it.
Taste the smoothie. If it's too thick, add 30 ml of orange juice and blend briefly (10–15 seconds). If it's too thin, add a few ice cubes or 30 g of frozen banana and blend again. If you need extra sweetness, add honey (up to 30 g) and mix well.
Serving and decoration
Pour the smoothie into 4 chilled glasses (or cocktail glasses), filling them to about 90% height to leave room for decoration. Garnish the top with a mint leaf (10 g) and optionally sprinkle with a teaspoon of chia seeds (if they were not soaked beforehand) for decorative effect and a delicate texture.
Storage
If you are not serving the entire smoothie right away, pour the excess into a sealed jar or bottle and place it in the refrigerator. The smoothie will maintain good quality for 12–24 hours — after this time, natural separation of the liquids is normal, so shake or briefly blend again before serving.
Fun Fact
Smoothies as a fruit and yogurt drink gained popularity in the USA in the 1960s and 1970s, and the name comes from the English word 'smooth.' The addition of chia seeds, known from Central America, introduces an element of the dietary traditions of indigenous cultures into the drink.

Tips
Serve the smoothie immediately after preparation in chilled glasses. For an elegant presentation, use cocktail glasses, garnish with a slice of orange and a mint leaf, and serve with a metal straw or a short cocktail biscuit. For a 'fit' version, substitute Greek yogurt with low-fat natural yogurt.
Store in airtight jars in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours; before serving, shake vigorously or briefly blend. Long-term storage over 48 hours is not recommended (loss of freshness and nutritional value). You can freeze portions in ice cube trays and serve as 'smoothie' sorbets later.
