Mango pulp

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Mango pulp is a creamy, juicy puree with an intense sweet-and-sour flavor, featuring tropical and floral notes; it has a smooth consistency with delicate fibers and a bright orange color that adds an attractive hue to dishes. It is rich in vitamins A and C, folic acid, potassium, fiber, and antioxidants (carotenoids and polyphenols), which support immunity, eye and skin health, improve digestion, and have anti-inflammatory properties, all while being low in fat. The pulp is perfect for cocktails, smoothies, sorbets, and ice creams, as a base for chutneys, sauces, glazes for meat and fish, dressings, desserts, and baked goods, as well as exotic drinks. It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2–3 days or in portions in the freezer for about 6 months; thaw slowly in the refrigerator and avoid refreezing.
