Sól himalajska
Description
Himalayan salt consists of pink crystals with a subtly salty, pure taste and a hint of minerals; its color ranges from pale pink to deeper salmon, making it attractive as a decorative salt. In terms of composition, it is mainly sodium chloride, but it also contains trace amounts of iron, magnesium, calcium, and potassium, which give it its color and friendly image. The health benefits mainly come from providing sodium essential for electrolyte balance, but it does not replace a balanced diet and should be used in moderation, as its sodium content is comparable to regular salt. In the kitchen, Himalayan salt works great as a finishing salt for salads, grilled meats, fish, and vegetables, as well as for desserts like chocolate or caramel, where it adds texture and visual appeal. It should be stored in an airtight, dry container away from moisture and direct heat; coarse crystals are best used in a grinder, while fine salt should be kept in a standard salt container.
