Fine sea salt
Description
Fine sea salt has a delicate, salty flavor with a subtle marine note and small, uniform crystals ranging from white to slightly grayish-cream, which dissolve quickly and do not leave a metallic aftertaste. It is less processed than table salt, which affects its natural aroma and texture. Nutritionally, it mainly consists of sodium chloride (NaCl) with a small amount of trace elements (magnesium, potassium, calcium), so in reasonable amounts, it helps maintain electrolyte balance, nerve conduction, and muscle function; however, excess sodium should be limited. Fine sea salt is suitable for everyday seasoning during cooking, baking, preparing marinades, soups, and sauces, as well as for lightly seasoning dishes before serving. Store it in a dry, airtight container, away from moisture and heat sources, using a dry spoon to prevent clumping.
