Świeże jagody
Description
Fresh berries are small, round fruits with an intense color ranging from blue to dark purple, featuring a delicate, shiny skin and a sweet-tart, slightly aromatic flavor. They are low in calories, rich in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, and minerals such as manganese, and above all, they are abundant in antioxidants—anthocyanins—that support the cardiovascular system, brain function, and have anti-inflammatory properties. In the kitchen, berries work wonderfully in desserts, smoothies, yogurts, muesli, baked goods, and as a fresh addition to salads and meat sauces, adding freshness and color. Store them in the refrigerator in a flat container lined with a paper towel, without washing them before storing, as moisture accelerates spoilage; for longer storage, freeze them spread out on a baking sheet, then transfer to a bag or container.
