Raw white sausage
Description
Raw white sausage is a traditional meat product with a light, creamy color and a delicate, natural casing. It has a mild flavor, slightly spicy due to marjoram and garlic, with a distinct meaty texture and no smoky aroma. As a product based on pork (often with the addition of beef), it provides high-quality protein as well as B vitamins and iron, which support recovery and metabolism; however, it also contains fat and salt, so it should be consumed in moderation. Raw sausage is suitable for cooking, stewing, grilling, and baking; it pairs perfectly with sour rye soup, cabbage, potatoes, and mustard. It should be stored in a cool place at a temperature of 0–4°C and consumed within 2–3 days of purchase, or frozen for 2–3 months; after thawing, keep it in the refrigerator and always boil or bake it thoroughly to a safe temperature before consumption.
