Description
Smoked bacon slices are characterized by an intense, smoky aroma and a pronounced salty-umami flavor; the slices have a contrasting layer of meat and fat, a golden-brown surface, and a crispy texture after cooking. It is a source of protein and fats, also providing B vitamins and minerals such as iron and zinc, but it contains relatively high amounts of saturated fats and sodium, so it is advisable to consume it in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
