Chleb tostowy pszenny
Description
White toast bread has a light white crumb with a fine, elastic structure and a thin, golden crust; the taste is mild, slightly sweet, and neutral, making it an excellent base for more pronounced toppings. Its softness and even slicing make it easy to prepare toasts and sandwiches. Nutritionally, it is a source of easily digestible carbohydrates and a moderate amount of protein, and in enriched versions, B vitamins and iron; however, it has a lower fiber content than whole grain bread and may contain added salt and sugar. It is suitable for toasts, classic and grilled sandwiches, French toast, breading, or croutons. To maintain freshness, store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, consume within a few days, or freeze individual slices; avoid the refrigerator, which speeds up staleness.
