Cynamon do posypania
Description
Cinnamon for sprinkling is a finely ground, warm-brown powder with an intense, sweet-spicy aroma featuring distinct notes of vanilla and cloves. Its flavor is sweetish, slightly astringent, and warming, which beautifully enhances both sweet and savory compositions. It is typically used as a decorative and flavor accent on desserts, oatmeal, coffee, baked fruits, and dishes with pumpkin and potatoes. Cinnamon contains antioxidants and compounds with anti-inflammatory properties, and moderate consumption may support glucose level control and metabolic balance, although it does not replace medical therapy. It should be stored tightly closed, in a cool, dark place, away from moisture and heat sources; cinnamon sticks retain their aroma longer than ground powder.
