Red gel food coloring
Description
Red gel food coloring is a concentrated, thick substance with an intense, transparent purple to crimson hue, practically tasteless or with a very subtle, slightly earthy aftertaste in the case of natural colorings. Its gel-like consistency makes it easy to mix and gradually dose, allowing for an even, lasting color without diluting the mixture. Nutritionally, the product is almost devoid of calories and nutrients; the energy value and macronutrient content are negligible. In the case of natural colorings (e.g., from beets, red fruits), antioxidants may be present, but the main benefit is the visual effect of the dish, not its nutritional value. In the kitchen, the gel is useful for decorating cakes, icings, creams, buttercreams, desserts, and beverages, as well as for coloring dough or royal icing. Store in a cool, dry, and shaded place, tightly sealed; after opening, use according to the manufacturer's instructions, preferably consume within a reasonable time, and avoid contact with high temperatures and direct light.
