Chicken eggs (size M)
Description
Chicken eggs (size M) have a delicate, slightly buttery flavor, creamy yolk, and clear egg white that becomes light and firm when cooked; the shell can be white or brown, with a smooth surface. They are incredibly versatile in the kitchen — suitable for scrambled eggs, omelets, hard or soft boiled, poached, and also as an ingredient in cakes, sauces (e.g., mayonnaise), breading, or salads, where they act as a binder and source of structure. Nutritionally, an M egg is a complete source of high-quality protein (~6–7 g) and vitamins A, D, B12, riboflavin, and folic acid, along with minerals such as iron, selenium, and valuable choline that supports the brain; it also contains lutein and zeaxanthin beneficial for vision. Store in the original carton in the refrigerator (ideally for 3–5 weeks), do not wash before storing, place with the pointed end down, and adhere to the expiration date; use quickly after cracking or refrigerate.
