Description
Greek yogurt 10% (dip) is a thick, creamy product with a silky, slightly dense texture and a light cream color. It has a distinct, pleasantly tangy flavor with a subtle hint of richness, making it more filling and aromatic than fat-free versions. From a nutritional standpoint, it provides protein, calcium, B vitamins, and beneficial probiotic cultures; the fat content (around 10%) increases the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and enhances the feeling of fullness, although it also raises the calorie count compared to leaner yogurts. In the kitchen, it works well as a base for dips, sauces, and dressings, for tzatziki, meat marinades, creamy salad dressings, and as an addition to roasted vegetables, soups, and desserts.
