Instant coffee (espresso instant)
Description
Instant coffee (espresso instant) is a fine, dark brown powder or granules with a concentrated, intense aroma reminiscent of espresso, featuring a distinct bitterness and notes of roasting, along with subtle acidity. It differs in appearance from ground coffee and does not create the crema characteristic of espresso extraction, but it dissolves quickly in hot water, producing a drink with a deep flavor. Nutritionally, it has few calories, virtually no fat or protein, contains caffeine, as well as polyphenolic compounds and trace minerals like potassium and magnesium. In moderate amounts, it supports alertness, concentration, and provides antioxidants. In the kitchen, it works well in drinks like espresso, americano, or latte, as an addition to cakes, tiramisu, ice creams, and meat or chocolate sauces, enhancing the aroma. Store in a dry, airtight container, away from light and moisture; avoid the refrigerator due to condensation.
