Butter (min. 82% fat)
Description
Butter (min. 82% fat) has a creamy, smooth consistency and a light yellow color, along with a rich, slightly milky and buttery aroma. The taste is full, buttery with a delicate sweetness and a slight hint of saltiness if it contains salt. Due to its high fat content, it gives dishes a velvety texture and a golden crust when frying and baking. Nutritionally, butter is a concentrated source of calories and saturated fats, but also of fat-soluble vitamins, primarily A, and to a lesser extent D and K2, as well as fatty acids such as CLA. When used in moderation, it aids in the absorption of vitamins and adds energy. It is indispensable in the kitchen for frying, sauces, baking flaky pastries, spreading on bread, and finishing sauces and dishes. It should be stored tightly wrapped in the refrigerator, away from strong odors; it can also be frozen for longer storage, and before use, taken out for a few minutes to soften.
