Lobster meat
Description
Lobster meat is characterized by a delicate, slightly sweet flavor and a firm, dense texture; after cooking, it takes on a white-cream color with pinkish accents and easily flakes into juicy pieces. It is a source of high-quality protein with low fat content, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, and minerals such as selenium, zinc, and iodine, which support heart health, the nervous system, and thyroid metabolism, while the cholesterol content is moderate, so it is advisable to consume it in moderation. In the kitchen, lobster meat works perfectly — in soups and bisques, salads, pasta, risottos, grilled dishes, or the classic lobster roll, accompanied by butter, lemon, and delicate herbs. Store live lobsters in a cool, moist place, and keep raw or cooked meat in the refrigerator for 1–2 days or vacuum freeze for longer storage; thaw slowly in the refrigerator and avoid leaving at room temperature.
