Mixed forest fruits (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Description
A mix of forest fruits — strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries — is characterized by a contrasting sweet-tart flavor and vibrant colors: bright red strawberries, deep blue blueberries, and purple raspberries create an attractive, delicate texture. These fruits are low in calories, rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, including anthocyanins, which support the immune system, heart function, and have anti-inflammatory and protective effects on blood vessels. In the kitchen, they are versatile — suitable for smoothies, muesli, yogurts, desserts, cakes, jams, sauces for meats and salads, as well as a fresh addition to ice cream or pancakes. Store in the refrigerator in a breathable container lined with a paper towel and do not wash before storing. For longer-term storage, it is best to freeze them, spread them out on a tray for individual freezing, and then keep in a sealed bag for 6–12 months.
