Peanut oil

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan ⚠️ Allergen

Description

Peanut oil has a distinct, intensely nutty aroma and flavor with a slightly sweet note; its color ranges from light golden (refined) to deeper amber in cold-pressed versions, and its consistency is clear and liquid. Nutritionally, it is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, also providing polyunsaturated omega-6, vitamin E, and phytosterols, which, when consumed in moderation, can support heart health and have antioxidant effects, although it is high in calories and it is important to maintain a balance of fatty acids. In the kitchen, it is suitable for frying, deep frying, and stir-frying due to its high smoke point; it is excellent for dressings, marinades, peanut sauces, and Asian dishes, as well as for baking when we want to achieve a nutty aroma. Store in a sealed bottle in a cool, dark place; unrefined versions should be kept in the refrigerator after opening and used within a few months. Be aware of the risk of peanut allergies.
