Description
Smoked sweet paprika is a finely ground powder with an intense, deep red color and a sweet-smoky aroma; the flavor is mild, without sharp spiciness, with distinct notes of smoking that enhance the natural sweetness of the pepper. It is rich in carotenoids, especially beta-carotene (a source of vitamin A), contains vitamin C, as well as polyphenols and other antioxidants, which support eye health, the immune system, and have anti-inflammatory effects, with low calorie content and no added fat. In the kitchen, it works well as a versatile spice for braised meats, stews, soups, paella, marinades, sauces, and roasted vegetables, adding depth of flavor without heat.
