Turkey breast ham
Description
Turkey breast ham is a delicate, light pink slice with a fine-grained texture and a mild, slightly salty flavor; it slices well for thin slices for sandwiches as well as thicker portions for heating. It is a lean source of high-quality protein, low in calories and fat, providing B vitamins, selenium, and phosphorus, which support muscle recovery and metabolism. However, attention should be paid to the sodium content in processed products. Turkey breast ham works well in sandwiches, salads, wraps, omelets, and light casseroles, pairing nicely with mustard, cheeses, and vegetables. Store in the refrigerator at a temperature of up to 4°C, and consume an opened package within 3–5 days; vacuum-sealed products can be kept until the expiration date, and can be frozen for longer (1–2 months) and thawed in the refrigerator to avoid drying out and contamination.
