Wino białe wytrawne
Description
Dry white wine is a clear drink ranging from straw-colored to pale gold, with distinct acidity and delicate aromas of citrus, green apples, flowers, and herbal notes. The taste is fresh, low in sweetness with clear minerality or fruity liveliness, and the finish can be short or long depending on the variety and aging. Nutritionally, it primarily provides calories from alcohol and a small amount of carbohydrates, with almost no protein and fat; it contains trace amounts of vitamins and polyphenols, which may have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system when consumed in moderation. In the kitchen, dry white wine is excellent for deglazing pans, preparing cream-based and reduction sauces, marinades for fish and poultry, risottos, and vinaigrettes, enhancing the freshness of the ingredients. It should be stored in a cool, dark place at a constant temperature (ideally 10–15°C); once opened, it should be sealed with a cork or airtight stopper and refrigerated, best consumed within 3–5 days.
