Description
Greek yogurt 10% is a creamy, thick product with a velvety texture and a slightly tangy, fresh taste, usually ranging from snow-white to creamy. Due to its higher fat content, it has a fuller, more satisfying aroma than fat-free yogurts. It is rich in protein and calcium, supports the feeling of fullness and muscle recovery, and live bacterial cultures (if present) positively affect the gut microbiome; the fat content provides energy and fat-soluble vitamins, so it is worth including in moderate portions. In the kitchen, it works well as a base for dips, sauces (e.g., tzatziki), dressings, marinades, creamy desserts, smoothies, and as a substitute for cream in soups or baking. Store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2–7°C, in its original or tightly sealed packaging, and consume within 5–7 days of opening; if whey separates, mix it, and avoid freezing to prevent loss of texture.
