Cointreau orange liqueur
Description
Cointreau is a clear orange liqueur with a distinct, pure aroma of sweet and bitter orange peels and an intense, balanced sweet-bitter taste with a noticeable alcoholic note (alcohol content approx. 40%). It is suitable for both classic cocktails and desserts, enhancing the aroma of sorbets, creams, fruit sauces, or glazes for meats. Nutritionally, Cointreau is an alcoholic beverage with high caloric content due to alcohol and sugar, and it does not serve as a significant source of vitamins or minerals; in moderate amounts, it can have a warming effect and, as an aperitif, aid digestion, but excessive consumption is detrimental to health. The bottle should be stored tightly closed in a cool, dark place away from heat sources; chilling after opening can help preserve the freshness of the aroma, and the taste is best maintained for several years.
