Ground beef and pork
Description
Ground beef and pork is an aromatic blend with a more pronounced, fuller flavor than pure beef, with a slightly sweet note from the pork; it has a uniform pinkish-red color with visible traces of fat that give it juiciness and tenderness after cooking. From a nutritional standpoint, it provides high-quality protein, B vitamins (especially B12 and niacin), iron, and zinc, supporting energy, blood production, and immunity, while also containing saturated fats and cholesterol, so it's worth choosing leaner proportions or using it in moderation. In the kitchen, it is versatile: for patties, burgers, meatballs, meat sauces, casseroles, and fillings. It should be stored in a cool place: in the refrigerator for 1–2 days, in the freezer for about 3 months, after thawing keep in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours; it is best kept in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic, and before consumption, it should be thoroughly baked or fried.
