Description

Refined rapeseed oil has a mild, almost neutral taste and a clear, light golden color, which means it does not interfere with the flavor profile of dishes. Refining removes intense aromas and impurities, giving the oil a versatile character and a high smoke point, making it ideal for frying, stewing, baking, emulsifying sauces and light dressings, as well as for marinades and preparing salads when we want a delicate flavor. Nutritionally, rapeseed oil mainly provides monounsaturated fatty acids and beneficial ratios of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids, is low in saturated fats, and is a source of vitamin E, which supports cardiovascular health. It should be stored in a tightly closed bottle in a cool, dark place away from heat sources; once opened, it is best to use it within a few months, and if we chill it in the refrigerator, temporary cloudiness may occur without loss of quality.
