Rapeseed oil (for frying)
Description
Rapeseed oil for frying has a mild, subtle flavor and a clear, pale golden color, which means it does not overpower dishes, allowing the distinct aromas of the ingredients to shine through. It is usually refined, which raises its smoke point and stability during heat treatment. In terms of nutritional value, rapeseed oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, also contains alpha-linolenic acid omega-3 and vitamin E, with a relatively low content of saturated fats, which supports the lipid profile with moderate consumption. In the kitchen, it works perfectly for deep and shallow frying, baking, stewing, and as a base for marinades and sauces when a neutral note is needed. It should be stored in a tightly closed bottle, in a cool and dark place, away from heat sources; once opened, it should be used within a few months, and it may become cloudy in the fridge, but this does not affect its quality when warmed up.
