30% heavy cream
Description
30% heavy cream is a smooth, white liquid with a delicate, milky flavor and a velvety, thick consistency that becomes fluffy and firm when whipped. With about 30% fat content, it provides an intense, rich creamy note that enhances dishes without overpowering the flavor. It is a source of energy, milk protein, and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and calcium; however, due to its high saturated fat and calorie content, it should be used in moderation. In the kitchen, 30% cream is perfect for whipping for desserts, sauces, creamy soups, risottos, pasta dishes, and baking, as well as for coffee and ganache. Store in the refrigerator (0–4°C) in its original packaging, and use within 3–5 days after opening, avoiding contamination. Unwhipped cream can be frozen for culinary uses, but the consistency may slightly separate after thawing.
