Dried edible rose petals
Description
Dried edible rose petals have a delicate, floral aroma with a subtle, slightly sweet and sour note and an attractive color ranging from light pink to deeper burgundy; they are thin, brittle, and aesthetically pleasing, making them as desirable visually as they are in taste. In terms of nutritional value, they provide polyphenols, flavonoids, small amounts of vitamin C, and fiber, which contribute to antioxidant effects, support for immunity and digestion, as well as mild anti-inflammatory and soothing properties for the throat. In the kitchen, they work well in teas, desserts, baked goods, salads, and as an edible decoration, as well as an ingredient in syrups, liqueurs, or flavored salts and sugars. Store them in a sealed, dark, and dry container, away from moisture and light, preferably at room temperature; before use, check the smell and appearance, and the optimal usage period is about 12 months.
